The Team: Dr. med. Christiane Bär-Benzing

Dr. med. Christiane Bär-Benzig took her doctor`s degree in 1980 after studying in Würzburg (GERMANY) and Bern (Switzerland). Passing successfully specialist medical training at the university hospital of Freiburg she became an anesthesist.

Proceeding her career as head physician in the anesthesiology department of the university hospital in Freiburg she finally became established as an anesthesist for in-patients and out-patients together with her colleagues Dr. Haller and Dr. Hebel.

She has long-term experience in all modern anesthetic techniques such as narcosis done by anesthetic inhaler or tubage, complete intravenous anesthesiology, spinal- and plexus techniques, blocking of the nervous pathway for pain relief during and after the operation, consultation and care before, during and after the operation
